Raymond Foster Scholarship
Honouring the legacy of generosity, community, and service.
Raymond Foster was an integral part of his community. As a dedicated Realtor with ReMax, he built strong relationships rooted in trust, integrity, and genuine care for people. Beyond his professional life, Raymond served faithfully on the church board at Praise Cathedral Worship Center, contributed his time on the board at New Haven Funeral Center, and remained actively involved with the Knox Past Student Association.
Raymond was known for being just a phone call away. No matter the situation, he showed up. He went above and beyond to support his friends, his family, and anyone in need—always making sure others were okay before himself. His love for people extended beyond Canada to Jamaica, where he also poured into his community.
He lived a life of service, compassion, and quiet strength.
Though he will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace in heaven with his parents and his Lord and Saviour.

About The Scholarship
The Raymond Foster Scholarship was created to honour his legacy of generosity, community, and service. Raymond’s life embodied generosity, integrity, and unwavering service to others. The scholarship supports Grade 12 students and first-year college or university students who demonstrate solid academic achievement while exemplifying exceptional character, compassion, and a commitment to meaningful community impact.
Rooted in the belief that true leadership is measured by an individual’s willingness to give, uplift, and serve, each year, this scholarship will be awarded to two students who demonstrate strong character, a heart for others, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their community through volunteerism, charity, and acts of selflessness, carrying forward the legacy of Raymond Foster.
Grade 12 or first year college or university student with solid academic background.
Demonstrable generosity, leadership, and community service.
Canadian residency of Caribbean decent.
Scholarship Elegibility

Applicants must be current Grade 12 students or first year college or university students who demonstrate a solid academic record that reflects commitment, effort, and readiness for postsecondary success.

Applicants must exemplify strong moral character, including honesty, respect, compassion, and a consistent commitment to doing what is right, even when unrecognized.

Applicants must show meaningful involvement in volunteer work, charitable activities, or initiatives that contribute positively to their school, neighbourhood, or broader community.

Applicants should demonstrate a pattern of giving of self—through acts of kindness, mentorship, leadership, or support of others—reflecting the values of the individual in whose honour this scholarship was created.

Applicants must provide evidence of having made a measurable or meaningful difference in the lives of others, whether through organized service or personal acts of contribution.

Applicants should embody the spirit of the honouree, showing a commitment to carrying forward a legacy of service, compassion, and community upliftment.
Each scholarship in 2026 has a value of two thousand dollars
$2,000.00.
